The ability to amuse oneself is one thing that will immensely help you in the field. It will eliminate what we call "neediness." And girls will respond to you favorably. Trust me. ;)List the self amusing things you can do while bored in the field, waiting for the train etc whatever.
Here's a few. Even if I don't have an intention of opening, when a girl passes me by I say hi or hey without looking and its funny to ME. Or someone takes a picture and I say hi to the camera hahah
